The Seattle Domain Refrain
According to Detroit Hockey
Seattle Cougars - I'm not a fan of this one. The cougars are the Mascot of Washington State University, who are in Pullman. Being a University of Washington fan, I am less than thrilled by this possibility.
Seattle Eagles - Not a fan of this one either. First there is already the NFL team which is by that name.
Seattle Sockeyes - I like the alliteration, but do you want to name your team after salmon when your closest rivals are represented by killer whales?
Seattle Seals - Same as above.
Seattle Sea Lions - A third one? Really? Guys, think about the optics of this.
Seattle Whales - With the closeness of the Canucks, I don't like this one either.
Seattle Emeralds - Seattle is called the Emerald City is because the city and surrounding areas are filled with greenery. This is an interesting name, but I can't really see it see this as being a sports franchise name.
Seattle Evergreens - Another play on the tree's that surround Seattle. I guess it's ok, but I don't find it particularly inspiring.
Seattle Firebirds - There is a hockey team in Flint Michigan named the Firebirds. As Detroit hockey astutely pointed out, Vegas was blocked from using the Knights by London. This hockey team name may be difficult to get. Also what do Firebirds have to do with Seattle?
Seattle Renegades - I don't have anything for or against this name.
Seattle Kraken - This is my favorite of the listed names. It is a legendary sea monster of giant size that is said to dwell off the coasts of Norway and Greenland. They could announce the team by bellowing "RELEASE THE KRAKEN".
Lastly the Seattle Sasquatch was added. It's cool. Also lots of logo possibilities. The alliteration is good too, the only downside of this, is that it's not as cool as KRAKEN.
"38 domains representing 13 different possible names were registered under the name of Christina Song. Ms. Song, according to her LinkedIn profile, is General Counsel at Oak View Group, who won the bid to redevelop Seattle’s Key Arena on December 4. The domains were registered via an email address for a lawyer at Gibson Dunn. That firm assisted Oak View Group in the Key Arena bid process".Here are my thoughts

Seattle Rainiers - Mount Rainer was named after Rear Admiral Peter Rainier by George Vancouver. It's much like Mt. Denali, a piece of land that was taken from the Indigenous people and renamed to honor one of the conquerors. This name is asking for trouble. It's also the name of a local baseball team (The Tacoma Rainiers). Given the problems that Vegas had being blocked by teams, this may also be a problem.
Seattle Totems - The Seattle Totems were a WHL and CHL team that expected to jump to the NHL in 1976 but failed due to ownership issues.
However, Totem poles aren't actually indigenous to the area. The Salish peoples, did not traditionally carve totems. They were installed in Washington State as a campaign to make Seattle the “Gateway to Alaska” by installing an Alaskan a totem pole downtown. Given the current climate of politics, you might as well call yourself the "Seattle Cultural Appropriations".
